The FDA has recently approved Smartlipo - a breakthrough laser lipolysis procedure that melts down fat and tightens the skin permanently. Smartlipo is the first laser that vaporizes fat by using a tiny 1 mm laser tip probe that dissolves fat. Though SmartLipo is highly effective, it is only appropriate for patients wishing to lose small amounts of fat, or up to about 8 pounds. SmartLipo will not provide results for persons needing to lose significant amounts of body fat.
